In its latest&a;nbsp;annual exploration review, Rystad Energy said the US supermajor was exceptional – both in terms of discovered volumes as well as value creation from exploration.

&l;span&g;To measure industry performance for its review, t&l;/span&g;he Oslo, Norway-headquartered research outfit looked at the number of exploration wells, net discovered resources and the value creation from wildcat exploration (wells drilled in new prospects) and found the U.S. supermajor leading its rivals.
