Why climate change researchers are freaking out When Donald Trump was elected, most people probably weren’t concerned about the future of data. But for some groups, that was top of mind.

Data Refuge was founded after the election, with a goal of tracking and safeguarding government data.

The volunteer group of hackers, writers, scientists and students collects federal data about climate change in order to preserve the information and keep it publicly accessible.

“When things like science are politicized, scientific information will be less accessible,” said Dr. Bethany Wiggin, co-director of Data Refuge. “If you can keep knowledge out of the hands of your political opponents, that’s an effective win.”

    Mosaicdropped 1.1% to $27.77 today, while the S&P 500 advanced 0.2% to 2,262.53.

    Vale will maintain an 11% stake with ownership nitrogen and phosphate fertilizing assets in the city of Cubat茫o, Reuters reports. Mosaic adds Canada and Peru mines to its empire as part of the deal, according to the Mosaic acquisition press release…

    Mosaic’s market capitalization fell to $9.7 billion today from $10.4 billion yesterday. It reported net income of $1 billion on sales of $8.9 billion in 2015.

    Jefferies announced on Monday that it has upgraded Packaging Corp of America (PKG) from “Hold” to “Buy.”

    The firm also raised PKG’s price target from $49.00 to $70.00. Jefferies analystPhilip Ng also gave the companybull-case scenario target of $88. The upgrade comes after the firm announced earlier today that it has agreed to purchase all outstanding shares of Boise Inc. (BZ)for $1.995 billion. Analyst Ng believes the new acquisition will result in an attractive multiple.

    Packaging Corp of America shares rallied 9.73% during Monday’s session. Year-to-date, the stock is up 39.87%.
