Guardian Life Insurance Company of America has entered into a sublease to relocate its headquarters in New York’s Financial District into more than 148,000 square feet of subleased space at 10 Hudson Yards.
The sublease deal with handbag retailer Coach Inc. was revealed in a Sept. 13th 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission by Coach.
According to the SEC filing, Guardian Life Insurance has agreed to sublease three floors of Coach’s leased space consisting of approximately 148,319 square feet at 10 Hudson Yards. Guardian Life’s headquarters is currently located at 7 Hanover Square in New York.

Officials with Guardian Life could not be reached for comment at press time, however, the rent commencement date for the 10 Hudson Yards space is Feb. 1, 2019 and expires on June 29, 2036.

Shares of Rogers Corp. (NYSE:ROG) gained 19.9% in April 2017, according to data from S&P Global Market Intelligence.
The company reported first-quarter results on April 26, sending share prices nearly 12% higher the next day. Rogers saw 27% year-over-year sales growth and 79% higher earnings, leaving analyst estimates far behind in both cases.

Nothing guts a drug stock like bad clinical trial data. Shares of Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical (RARE) fell as much as 10% after a seizure medication failed in a phase II study.
Trading at a recent $72.22, the shares were down 7.7% after earlier falling as much as 10% to $70.51
The seizure drug UX007 was tested as a treatment for glucose transporter type-1 deficiency syndromeor Glut1 DSamong a small group of patients. Data released Wednesday showed that it only cut the rate of seizures in the drug arm by 13.4% compared to the placebo arm, falling short of statistical significance.
Investigators, though, teased out a clinically — though not statistically — significant benefit for patients experiencing what are called absence seizures. Ultragenyx now intends to focus on that in a Phase III pivotal trial.
Leerik analyst Joseph Schwartz called the selloff a buying opportunity.
