Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., told Federal Reserve Board Chair Janet Yellen on Wednesday to remove Wells Fargo board members who served between May 2011 and July 2015 — a time period when she said the bank continually cheated customers and shirked its regulatory duties.

In a Wednesday letter to Yellen, Warren said that new evidence shows that Wells Fargo failed to refund money owed to car loan customers, that it overcharged small businesses for credit card transactions, and that it billed certain mortgage customers for unexpected optional services.

    Micron Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: MU) reported better-than-expected profit for its first quarter and issued a strong forecast for the current quarter. Micron shares climbed 9.91 percent to $22.62 in the after-hours trading session.
    Analysts expect Cal-Maine Foods Inc (NASDAQ: CALM) to post quarterly earnings at $0.48 per share on revenue of $262.83 million after the closing bell. Cal-Maine shares rose 0.12 percent to $42.75 in after-hours trading.
    Red Hat Inc (NYSE: RHT) reported upbeat earnings for its third quarter, but sales missed expectations. The company also announced that its CFO Frank Calderoni is stepping down. Red Hat shares tumbled 10.15 percent to $71.69 in the after-hours trading session.

    Flir Systems(FLIR) was the biggest loser in the S&P 500 on Tuesday, but the stock recouped all its losses Wednesday, and then some.

    Flir Systems gained $2.78, or 8.1%, to close at $36.93.

    The company’sdisappointing fourth-quarter earnings report was forgotten when it announced that the U.S. Coast Guard awarded it a $50 million contract. Flir will provide marine electronics systems for more than 2,000 Coast Guard vessels for its Scalable Integrated Navigation Systems 2 (SINS-2) program over a five-year period, with the option for extended delivery for an additional five years.

    Even before the news, Imperial Capital’sEd Mally was bullish on the stock’s prospects, who raised his price target on the stock by $2, to $38:


    Although we believe that some may still consider Flir as just a premier provider of very high-end cameras in the bellies of Bell Helicopters or border towers in a lumpy government sector, this 35-year-old company is a global leader in thousands of infrared detector cores and thermography equipment markets and also provides lower priced products to commercial and consumer security customers as well as other customers.

    Flir is up 2% so far this year.
