March 7, 2018: The S&P 500 closed up 0.4% at 2,738.94. The DJIA closed up 0.4% at 24,894.24. Separately, the Nasdaq was up 0.4% at 7,427.95.
Thursday ended up a net positive day for the broad U.S. markets. The markets shifted from positive to negative a couple times throughout the day, but ultimately finished on a positive note. Most of the gain for the markets came at the end of the day. Crude oil posted another significant drop. The S&P 500 sectors were almost entirely positive.
