Studies show that we are living longer and retiring later, but too many of us are not adequately preparing for retirement. People who do not save for retirement often do not have access to an employer-run retirement program, do not understand how much money they will need to save, or lack the financial knowledge to make the best investment decisions.

For many, working longer seems to be the new retirement strategy.

But that doesn’t mean there aren’t any ways to make money with oil. Cramer said that the biggest winners from the Trump trade are the oil pipelines and MLPs, like Magellan Midstream Partners (MMP) , an Action Alerts PLUS holding. Cramer said deregulation will mean all of the pipeline companies will be able to make more money, and faster, than anyone expected.

For perspective, two of the highest rated MLPs by credit rating agencies are Magellan Midstream Partners (NYSE:MMP) and Enterprise Products Partners (NYSE:EPD). Recently, their leverage ratios were 3.5 times and 4.4 times, respectively. While both Magellan Midstream and Enterprise Products have seen their leverage ratios creep higher in recent quarters due to the oil market downturn and growth spending, neither is a concern.

A long term performance chart shows shares of Rite Aid Corporation outperforming thealso solid performanceoflarge capsWalgreens Boots AllianceandCVS Caremark Corporation (NYSE: CVS):

  • [By Ben Levisohn]

Over the past two decades we have seen many transformational deals in healthcare
services. A large majority of them get off to difficult starts. But then there is the bifurcation. Some transactions continue to pressure the purchaser (Davita (DVA) and Healthcare Partners for example), while others reset the expectations and then reap significant long term benefits (CVS (CVS) and Caremark for example). The weaker outlook for the newly combined Envision was not entirely a surprise in light of the magnitude of the merger. The real question becomes does the management team fully understand the magnitude of the weakness, the drivers of the weakness and are those now included in guidance for the future. We are confident that the combined entity will generate cost synergies as well as revenue opportunities that were not available to either of the legacy entities. We believe that the remaining segments, after a portfolio review that is leading to expected divestitures, will be solid growth businesses. We simply acknowledge that the path to that higher earnings base may be volatile, and last night was the first bump in that road.

Investors are already seeing the writing on the wall. Shares of potential rivals in the retail pharmacy space were spooked by the news on Wednesday (May 18). Both CVS Health Corp. (NYSE: CVS) and Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. (Nasdaq: WBA) were down more than 3% in afternoon trading. At the same time, Amazon was up 1.48% on Wednesday and is currently trading up 0.84%.

CVS Health sold off from its high of over $113 to $92 recently as the company issued 2016 guidance that was below expectations. Only six weeks later, CVS increased its outlook for 2016, causing the stock to rally off recent lows to where it currently sits at around $98. We believe CVS offers value because of its undemanding valuation, its focus on returning capital to shareholders, and its exposure to long-term secular tailwinds, including increased health-care coverage, an aging population, and healthcare cost control.

Management recently reaffirmed its long-term target of 10-14 percent EPS growth while also increasing its dividend 21 percent to $1.70 (to a 1.7 percent yield). CVS is committed to increasing its dividend payout ratio to 35 percent by 2018, which implies a compound annual growth rate of 18 percent. Also, we expect $4 billion to $5 billion in share repurchases annually. CVS currently trades at 16.9 times calendar year 16 estimated EPS.
