Hot Cheap Stocks To Invest In Right Now

Google (GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL) doesn’t trade cheap and it probably never will. However, I do think it’s fairly valued and currently a good buy. My opinion is based on Google’s free cash flow, growth trajectory, and relative valuation to other technology stocks. I also believe that Google is only valued on its current business, which is mostly advertising. That leaves plenty of room for upside if Google successfully penetrates a new, large market. Given a cash balance of $100 billion, that’s surely a possibility for Google.

Google’s Financial Snapshot

When looking at the three tables below, it’s pretty hard to find anything wrong with Google’s performance. It’s pretty much a state of perfection. Over the last three full fiscal years, Google has:

Advisors’ Opinion:

For starters, the data center space has been dominated by AMD’s arch-rival Nvidia for a long time now. By virtue of its early lead, Nvidia has found its way into some of the most popular cloud platforms, like Amazon’s (NSDQ:AMZN)AWS, andMicrosoft’s (NSDQ:MSFT)Azure and IBM’s (NYSE:IBM)Bluemix. The Google deal represents AMD’s first breakthrough among US based cloud biggies. It’s also AMD’s first move in deep learning or machine learning, which is expected to play an increasingly important role in shaping the future of technology and its applications.

I confess: I’d always hated IBM Corp. (NYSE: IBM); never could stand Big Blue. The company was always too unfocused for my taste.

Its boardroom underwhelmed, too, allowing Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT) and Amazon.com Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN) to outmaneuver and shut it out of the outrageously lucrative cloud.

Sunnyvale, California-based AMD (NSDQ:AMD) recently unveiled their machine learning strategy with the launch of the new Radeon Instinctaccelerators, MIOpen library and the ROCm software (launched earlier). Artificial intelligence (AI), Machine Learning(ML) and Deep Learning(DL) have become the new buzzwords in the tech space. Most major technology companies including Alphabet (NSDQ:GOOGL), Microsoft (NSDQ:MSFT), International Business Machines (NYSE:IBM), Facebook (NSDQ:FB) have taken the AI plunge, so it’s no surprise that AMD unveiled their machine learning strategy. It was only a matter of time. So how exactly does this alter AMD’s prospects? And what does it mean for AMD stock investors?

Shares of General Electric have dropped 3.8% so far this year, with everything from its accounting to weaker margins being blamed for its weakness. They explain why and offer his views on Honeywell International (HON), Emerson Electric (EMR), and ITT (ITT) as well:

Hot Cheap Stocks To Invest In Right Now: Sirius XM Radio Inc.(SIRI)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Jon C. Ogg]

The long saga regarding Pandora Media Inc. (NYSE: P) has finally come to a head. Well, maybe. Rather than KKR & Co. L.P. (NYSE: KKR) investing $150 million, Sirius XM Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: SIRI) will be investing up to $480 million in the streaming music rival. With its ticketing unit sale taking place as well, it might seem that Pandora is getting a great deal and helping to bolster its books.

However, several Buffett stocks chalked up nice gains during the first quarter. The three top performers in Berkshire’s portfolio were Sirius XM Holdings (NASDAQ:SIRI), Mastercard (NYSE:MA), and Moody’s (NYSE:MCO). Here’s what drove these stocks higher — and what their prospects are for the rest of 2018.

  • [By Jon C. Ogg]

Sirius XM Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: SIRI) is a company that thrives on of new car sales. If you have had satellite radio and are not solely reliant on what you get for music in streaming or your library, then chances are pretty good that you won’t want to go back to just having old-fashioned FM/AM radio.

Liberty Sirius XM Group Class A (Nasdaq: LSXMA) 22.89%
