best securities to invest in

I have something important that I need to share…   Today, I'm going to share details of the strategy I learned 25 years ago at Goldman Sachs. It's the strategy I've used my entire career – decades long, now – to earn safe, steady income for myself and my readers.   But I know without a doubt that the bulk of you won't read past the next sentence… It's simply the way the world works.   That's because this entire essay will focus on options.   If you have a well-allocated portfolio and you're happy with your investment returns, learning how to use options may not be a priority for you. That's OK. I get it – I do.   But… you'll miss out on an easy investing lesson.   Other folks will want to read on. Because if you'd like to earn higher returns in the years ahead, options will help you do that. More important, options will actually help you reduce the risks of investing in the stock market.

On Thursday, our Under the Radar Moversnewsletter suggested shorting small cap offshore oil and gas services stock PHI Inc (NASDAQ: PHIIK):

We’re a little bit late to the party here, but that’s ok – there’s still some meat left on the bone, so to speak. Were looking for the stock to continue on to the lower edge of a long-term (and bearish) trading range that should allow it to peel back to at least the lower $12’s. We’ve see PHIIK shares tumble with great speed and distance a couple of times already, and we’re about halfway through round three.

Advisors’ Opinion:

Prudential Financial (NYSE:PRU) has long had the Rock of Gibraltar as its corporate symbol, representing its solid financial position. With more cash and equivalents than debt on its balance sheet, and a total cash hoard of over $49 billion, Prudential still looks set up to handle some downright awful insurable losses.
