Best Clean Energy Stocks To Buy Right Now

Since Eric Reis first coined the term “Lean Startup” in 2008, businesses have followed a consistent trajectory: Get flat or go home. The over-structured bureaucracy so common in 20th-century corporations is anathema to startups today, and a company might seem downright puritanical if its CEO doesn’t stroll into work wearing a hoodie.

On the whole, I think this is a good thing. The world moves faster today than it ever has before, and companies need to be relentlessly adaptable to stay competitive in this business environment. Keeping a business alive is no longer about creating a product efficiently. It’s about anticipating, adapting to, and executing on a market that’s constantly in flux. Running a lean startup with a flat organizational model provides the agility that’s necessary for survival in today’s business world.

Unfortunately, though, it also comes with some drawbacks.
